So running down the details, we are looking at Broadwell in Q2 2015 which is this quarter and happening now since as mentioned earlier, Broadwell is being shipped and listed by OEMs.
We have seen several leaks regarding Skylake and most of the information we have reported since the past months can now be confirmed as legit. The result was a 14nm processor which made several gains in the power management sector but had around 5% IPC gains on average compared to the 22nm Haswell processors so knowing that Skylake will adopt a new architecture design, it makes it more interesting than Broadwell. Since Broadwell processors are now listed by several OEM vendors including CyberpowerPC, eyes are now upon Intel's next processor launch which is without a doubt, the most interesting out of the two. Since launch, we knew that Broadwell will mark a transition to a smaller 14nm process while keeping most of the main CPU architecture changes from Haswell intact.
